Getting Started with Reco

What is Reco?

Reco is a Shopify app that displays social proof recommendations on your product pages. It shows your customers what other shoppers who viewed the same product ended up buying, helping to increase conversions and average order value.

When a customer visits a product page, Reco displays a widget like:

This gives your customers confidence in their purchase decisions and naturally encourages them to explore related products.

How Does Reco Work?

Reco works in three simple steps:

  1. Tracks customer behaviour — A lightweight tracking pixel monitors product views and purchases on your store (no personal data is collected).
  2. Analyses purchasing patterns — Reco identifies which products are frequently purchased together based on real customer behaviour.
  3. Displays recommendations — A customisable widget appears on your product pages showing what other customers bought.
