Understanding Your Analytics Dashboard

Overview

The Reco Analytics Dashboard gives you a clear picture of how your tracking pixel is performing and how much data Reco has collected. It's the first page you see when you open the app.

Dashboard Sections

Section What It Shows
Pixel Status Whether the tracking pixel is currently installed and active
Products How many products have been synced from your catalogue
Tracking Events Counts of product views, add-to-cart, checkout, and purchase events
Recommendations Overview of recommendation data generated from your tracking

Understanding Your Event Counts

The dashboard displays real-time counts for each event type the pixel tracks:

Event What It Means
Views Total number of product page views recorded
Add to Cart Total add-to-cart actions tracked
Checkout Started Total checkout initiations recorded
Purchases Total completed purchases tracked

These counts represent all-time totals since the pixel was first installed. They include data from all customer sessions.

Pixel Section

The pixel section at the top of the dashboard shows:

  • Current status — Whether the pixel is installed or not
  • Install/Uninstall button — Quick access to manage the pixel

If the pixel shows as "Not Installed", no new tracking data is being collected. Existing data and recommendations will still work, but no new behaviour will be recorded.

Products Section

This section shows:

  • Total synced products — How many products from your catalogue Reco knows about
  • Sync button — Trigger a manual product sync

If you notice products appearing as "Unknown" in your widget, a manual sync from this section will resolve it. Reco also syncs unknown products automatically in the background.

Making the Most of Your Dashboard

Goal Action
Check if tracking is working Look for increasing event counts after the pixel is installed
See if products are synced Check the products count matches your catalogue size
Verify pixel is active Confirm the pixel status shows "Installed"
Understand data volume Review total events to gauge recommendation quality

The more data Reco collects, the better your recommendations become. Stores with higher traffic will see meaningful recommendations faster.
